In the post-pandemic era, health has become our first and foremost priority. Immunity is one of the primary concerns and the key to boosting immunity is maintaining a healthy gut. From probiotic foods to pre-biotic drinks, there are many ways to keep the gut healthy and thus build immunity too. Actress Parineeti Chopra also hopped onto the bandwagon of using food and drink to maintain good health. She shared her go-to remedy for not just good health, but also healthy digestion. This is the home remedy that Parineeti Chopra recommended.

“Greater gut health starts here,” she wrote in the story on Instagram. In the picture, we could see a small cup of water which was yellowish-brown in colour. Parineeti Chopra seemed to be drinking it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. The healthy concoction was made with a number of spices such as jeera (cumin), saunf (fennel), ajwain (carom) and ginger as revealed by Chopra.

For the unversed, these Indian spices can actually work wonders for digestion. Jeera or cumin helps speed up digestion and fight gut issues. Fennel or Saunf too is highly recommended by experts for digestive ailments. Ajwain or Carom seed is a well-known remedy that provides instant relief from indigestion. Meanwhile, ginger is one of the most popular ingredients to promote good immunity.

Ajwain, fennel and cumin are all excellent for digestion and immunity.
