Katrina Kaif Celebrated Galentines Day With This Berry-Licious Dessert; See Pic


What have you been chomping on this Valentine’s Day? Well, we don’t know about you. But actress Katrina Kaif has been having a gala time with a plate of dessert. A sweet dish that came as a Galentine gift has won Katrina’s heart. The actress posted a photo of the dessert on Instagram Stories. What we see is a plate of chocolaty dessert covered with delicious jam and berries. Katrina thanked her fitness trainer Yasmin Karachiwala for the yummy treat and wrote, “Thank you Yasmin Karachiwala, my everyday Galentine.” She also added a sticker that read “Happy Galentine’s Day.”

Katrina Kaif’s plate of dessert looked sinfully delicious. But, it turns out that it’s a healthy treat. Fitness Trainer Yasmin Karachiwala shared details of the dish in her Instagram account. From her post, we get to know that Katrina had been munching on a scrumptious plate of an almond raspberry galette. That’s a mouthful. The video shows us how to make this galette from scratch. The caption read, “This Valentine’s Day, bake your partner and family the healthiest and guilty free dessert. I am baking almond raspberry galette from scratch and it’s super easy to make and impress your loved ones.”

Ingredients for almond raspberry galette

The galette has two components: the crust and the gooey filling. Given below are the ingredients you will need to make them.

For the crust you’ll need:

200 gms almond flour

60 gms tapioca flour

A pinch of salt

1/2 tbsp coconut sugar

2 tbsp unsalted dairy-free butter

1.5 tbsp ice-cold water

1/2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

For the filling you’ll need:

Vegan dark chocolate Nutella

Berries of your choice

How to make an almond raspberry galette?

Mix apple cider vinegar and ice water and set aside.

Add almond flour, tapioca flour, salt, coconut sugar in a large food processor and pulse them.

Now, put unsalted dairy-free butter to this mixture and pulse together until the butter breaks down.

Add water and apple cider vinegar to this 1 tbsp at a time and pulse it

The dough should come together

Shape the dough on greased parchment paper as per the baking tray. Freeze this for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

Spread the vegan dark chocolate Nutella evenly on the dough and fold them on the edges.

Add your berries and bake for 25 to 30 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius.

Enjoy this mouth-watering dessert with the goodness of berries.
